I got my zbook with MacOS installed and everything is working great (ordered a broadcom wifi card off eBay).

The only thing that isn't working is my docking station/display port monitors. This is a huge deal for me.

From what I understand, my nvidia Quadro k2100m is not being recognized.

I've scoured the forums and have tried every patch I can find.

How can I make this work?

Thanks!

What is your laptop graphics configuration? Dual GPU? Switched or dedicated?

How do I find that out?

The specs list the cards as integrated (intel 4600) and discreet (nvidia k2100m)

It also says "Switchable Graphics is enabled by default. If you choose to disable this functionality, Intel® integrated graphics will not be used."

"NVIDIA Quadro K2100M (2 GB GDDR5 dedicated)"

The full specs are here:
http://www8.hp.com/us/en/campaigns/workstations/zbook-15.html

When I had windows and ubuntu on here, I could plug a monitor or 2 in to the display ports and I would be good to go, including the laptop, thats 3 screens working. So far the display ports seem dead.

Also, thanks for replying, you helped me out so much yesterday with your old posts.

Looks like you have a "switched" dual-GPU configuration. In your case, Nvidia Optimus.

The discrete graphics capability in a switched dual-GPU configuration is not supported with OS X on hacks. Best you can do is disable the discrete part with SSDT/DSDT patches.

How do I do that? Will my display ports work then?

I'm not worried about graphics performance (mainly use this for development).

Also, you said its not supported by hacks, can it be done natively? Is there some way it could be supported by hacks?

I also just realized my usb 3 isn't working. I found a kext you put up and it seems to have fixed it.

Thanks!

I'm sort of lost, from what I've read if it doesn't appear in system profile, its not enabled. If you see my screenshot above, it looks likes its not there. I am assuming PBI took care of it.

How do I get displayport working?

Please nudge me in the right direction, I also didn't see any other optimus scripts in your repo.

Thanks!

It is either that or you have it disabled in BIOS.

AFAIK, DP should already be working...
