Everything works except when it comes back from sleep there is no sound, can anyone help? mobo is Z97X-SLI gigabyte

Yep. I just discovered that mine does this as well. I just got mine finished a few days ago and hadn't attached speakers because I was attempting to get the HDMI audio working. I have the same MB as you the Z97X-SLI. I've been looking here and elsewhere for a solution. Still am. Post here if you find a solution and I will do the same. Good luck...

This issue has been answered so many times.Losing sound after sleep in Mavericks is not a hackintosh problem it happens in real macs too.You could try and restart coreaudio but personally i haven't tried it.
