Z87 PRO issues. Help please

Heya,

Asus Z87-PRO users, how'd you do it? I'm having a hard time figuring out whether I do or don't have to 'flash my bios'. I don't want to unnecessarily risk bricking my system.. I've understood I have to put Clover on my EFI partition once complete. Correct? I tried hackintoshing with Unibeast earlier, but transfering bootloader to the EFI partition caused the dreaded boot0 error. Fixing that caused boot1 error. Is all of this normal?

Just update your BIOS to the latest available version (from vendor) and check the booting.4
