Card appears to be working fine, but there are two configuration issues:
  1. AppleVTD is not enabled
    • VT-d in BIOS must be turned on
    • DisableIOMapper in OpenCore Kernel Quirks must be turned off
  2. Thunderbolt Hot Plug SSDT needs to be configured for PC00.RP09

As in PC zero zero? Rats. Missed that.

But TB devices will not survive sleep and will need to be replugged...

Can this be fixed?
If you have 20-30GB free space on an existing SSD, it may be a good idea to try this:
  • Create a new APFS volume using Disk Utility and call it "Ventura"
  • Install Ventura into the new volume
  • Boot the Ventura disk and check sleep/wake behavior
  • Afterwards we can boot back to Monterey, run Disk Utility, and delete the Ventura volume with the "-" icon

Ha! Fixed. It was the DisableIOMapper quirk... Quirky.
Re-reading the guide thread for your board, you may be the first to use a Thunderbolt AIC, and possibly also the first with VT-d enabled. It may be worth to look at the ACPI tables to check DMAR and look for handlers related to sleep/wake (the last part is above my pay grade though).

Does networking work as expected through the Aquantia card, and through the on-board Realtek NIC?
