Z77's and USB3....Any work?

I'm looking through the forums and noticing that the so called.....native motherboards in the 2012 custom buyers guide don't all support usb 3.

Do any of the board (especailly the z77's) work with all the other stuff, audio etc, and the USB3????

USB 3 doesn't work for me. I was hoping for Multibeast 5 to fix this issue but it did not. I'll wait for the 10.8.1 update, maybe that will help.

I have the Z77x-UP5 TH and all of my USB 3.0 ports worked without a hitch. Audio works with the recommended kext. The only problem I've encountered that I haven't been able to resolve is getting the included WiFi/Bluetooth adapter to work.

From the research i've done, the GA-Z77X-UP5 TH is the only board where ALL usb 3.0 ports work. This is because it doesn't use any 3rd party usb 3.0 controllers. The Intel Z77 has 4 usb 3.0 ports. The Z77X-UP5 TH takes two of the four and puts a VIA 810 hub in front of them. That effectively quadruples the 2 ports to 8. And since these are hubs and not controllers, they are 100% OOB compatible with OSX. Most other boards pair the 4 Z77 usb 3.0 ports with an ASMedia usb controller, which is not supported OOB and requires hacked drivers.
