[SOLVED] z77n wifi reboot loop

Hello,

I had a fully working system. I was watching a movie with dual monitor setup on the internal hd4000 hdmi outputs and i think the computer overheated and shut itself down.
Now i am stuck in a reboot loop right after 'dsmos has arrived'

So i can only boot in safe mode -x.

Any ideas?

Thank you for your time,

Steve

i think i also opened up Messages for the first time, asking for a flash install... causing the processors to work at full force.

Possible that it has something to do with the power management? I got an i5 3570k

If i mess with the frequency settings of the processor i manage to boot. But after a few minutes the screen freezes.

I re-flashed the F2 bios but that didn't help.

I hooked up the power to view the amps the cpu is using and it spikes to over 6A then shuts itself down.

Weird weird...

I changed the SMBios with Chameleon wizard 4.2.2 to match what i think was more like the hardware eg Macmini 6,2

and everything is honky dory again woohoo!
