Hello !

I try to follow this guide to extract my DSDT : http://www.tonymacx86.com/dsdt/31716-guide-creating-your-own-dsdt-most-boards.html

With DSDT Editor, I can extract it, I can patch it (is it necessary with UEFO BIOS?), but i have many errors when I compile, and I can fix it automatically...

I have tested to extract it, and compile it without patch it, I have a lot of warnings and remarks, and 1 error I can't fix...

OK I have also tested to extract my DSDT with DSDTse, and I can compile it, without modifications, and with one error...

I can continue the guide with this DSDT compiled with one error ???

Thanks for helping !

EDIT : in this threads sonicseamus have uploaded his DSDT with HDEF modif, and he have the same board as mine. Can I use his DSDT-HDEF file ?

EDIT 2 : I've uploaded my origin DSDT.dsl

Copy the DSDT to the Extra folder

Go to System/Library/Extension and delete HDAEnabler.kext.

Run Multibeast with the option Audio > WithDSDT > ALC889 and reboot.

Thanks,

but I haven't HDAenabler.kext,

I have only AppleHDA.kext.

I delete it ? or only install ALC889 ?

EDIT : I have installed ALC889.

Now I can follow the guide to enable HDMI audio and modifiy the DSDT that you have send me ?

No, Place the DSDT file in Extra folder and run the multibeast with the audio option checked and reboot.

You should see the HDMI audio working.

Since I have installed ALC889 sound work but i can't tweak it directly from the sound menu.

I dont get it. When you have the DSDT file in extra folder and installed the apple HDA ALC889 DSDT version you should have HDMI option under sound. All you have to do is select the HDMI port under it.

Yes, HDMI is selected by default, and sound works, but i can't tweak the volume directlu by the sound menu on the Mac, i'm obliged to voume UP or DOWN with the TV.

I have read all the thread, and at the end, i have seen this picture :

The cursor is fixed like mine in the volume settings.

So, I think i won't be able to enable the volume control directly from the OS with this guide...

Is it really impossible ?
