Z68 Gigabyte MB all Sata ports don't work.

I get 5 of the ports to work on the board which has 1 e-sata alone and 6 on the side of the board. The top 2 ports don't work, drives will show up but they don't mount? Any suggestions? Thanks

You don't list the specific board, so the answer is generic.

There are several different SATA controllers and not all are supported by Snow Leopard or Lion. To get eSata working you may need to install the JMicron36xeSATA.kext from MultiBeast it is under Drivers/Kexts/Disks
