Yosemite to Catalina Help please!

Hi everyone,
I'm trying to upgrade from Yosemite to Catalina but I think I'm doing the first steps wrong i guess. I tried to run the Catalina iOS installer but my destination SSD is greyed out an it says "This version of macOS 10.15.3 cannot be installed on this computer". Does anyone ran into this?

Never mind! I solved that problem. But now, I'm facing another problem. I'm stuck on the grey screen with a spinning beach ball. Does anyone have ran into this problem?

Catalina AMD Mojave May have dropped support for older system definitions. MacPro 3.1, 4.1 etc. the minimum definitions to use are MacPro5.1, and iMac 14.2 for most users.

the best method is to get a 16Gb USB and go to the installation guide for Unibeast.
