Yosemite shuts down, but leaves computer on

When I shut down or restart from Yosemite with the apple logo button in the top left hand corner of the screen, it begins to shut down like a normal mac but then the screen turns black as if it was off, how ever the computer is still because i can hear the fans. Anyone else having similar problems?

Bumping, but I have this same problem even with the proper kexts and DSDT installed.

The same happening here, but I think is something related to DSDT. That doesn't happened to me with an old BIOS version of my laptop, but with a newer BIOS version yes (I had to replace my laptop motherboard, that's why I have experiences from two different bioses). I don't know how to fix it either, but (I don't know if it's working) when I use evoreboot.kext sometimes the system can shutdown properly (but sometimes dont).
