Yosemite Randomly Freezes When Working With Finder Windows

I upgraded to Yosemite last night from a perfectly working Mavericks install. Now it seems like the system freezes randomly, especially when opening/navigating through Finder windows. Happened a few times already at various points. This time around, after resetting the system, i haven't opened any Finder window and have used a lot of other apps/browsers so far, but no freeze. Seems to happen only when browsing through a Finder window. Any suggestions?

My Mavericks HD has started doing this.... driving me nutz. I have been trying to figure this out awhile now, not sure what caused/causes this. I still get the random freeze/stutter to open/navigate through finder windows. Have you found a solution or is your Yosemite HD still doing the same thing?
