I have googled and found the audio_CloverALC-master tool to get audio to work, but I just dont understand what I have to do. :/ Can someone point me to a guide that would hold my hand?

I am pretty new to clover and don't really understand if I need to be doing something special...

Thanks! Boy do I feel dumb.

I'm very new with Clover but I thought I would give it a try from the USB. I've tried to rung audio_realtekALC-100command for my ALC892 sound but get the following error after I enter my password.

/Volumes/Data/Users/raytaylor/Desktop/audio_realtekALC-100.command: line 168: [: ==: unary operator expected
Error: no IOReg/HDEF; BIOS/audio/disabled or ACPI problem
No system files were changed

Any ideas ... once again I'm very new to Clover. I have everything running from a USB except sound (ALC892) and USB 3.0.

Thanks

i was able to get the sound working on mine with clover. however, it keeps select Soundflower on the output selection after restart. i have to manually select speaker output every time. is there anything i can do to get around that? thanks in advance.

*Solved. removed Soundflower.kext from S/L/E and reboot. works great now."
