I have an xps 1702x laptop using iboot i get unable to find driver for this platform acpi i am looking around for hours to find out why this is happenning trying to install snow leopard without success all i get is a blank screen then after a few minutes this acpi comes on,any help would be appreciated i am a newbie at this.

I have one myself it has optimus right?Im afraid osx doesn't support it as far as im aware i got it installed but didnt have graphics acceleration and wouldnt reboot after installation so i gave up.Maybe now that apple are supporting nvidia cards again maybe just maybe you might get somewhere but someone with more knowledge than me would be able to give you the heads up .Sorry

apparently if its a 3d card then its "always on" and you can Hack it!
if its not 3d capable then i dont think itll work
