Hello all, i am stuck at 90% of my build and i have an ethernet issue/ AppStore issue:
upon creating a Hackintosh build using the last Mountain Lion build (10.8.5) i have managed to get the system stabilized and iTunes authorized to use my XPS as a media server for my multiple apple TV boxes in the house. Using a kext i managed to get my ethernet card to read as en0. The card is a Netgear ga-311 and traffic through the card is stable and robust however, thr typical appstore fix using efi studio and osx86 tools to create a "device-properties" thread has no impact on my card so i cannot fix the appstore (and presumibly iCloud and iMessage).
my question is this; how do i trick my xps420 to think the pci card is built in? No matter what I do it keeps telling me that ethernet built-in is False.
