Xmove installation failed

So....
I followed the guide perfectly and everything went smoothly until i got to the xmove part.
i partioned my sl harddrive and every thing but i get the error "can only be installed on a osx hard drive" please help

idk, can you fill in your hardware profile so we can help you?

HDD: SATA? GUID? MacOSextended(Journaled)? Did you make it 8GB?

Once you reboot back into Snow Leopard, you must mount InstallESD.dmg then start XMove.

Every time I try to launch xMove it says "The installation is damaged."

Can you try to download XMove again? I know it is rare, but on occasion a download is damaged.

If that isn't it, maybe you might want to consider running Disk Utilities....Repair Disk and Repair Permissions on the drive. You may have to only Verify on your startup partition.

I found the issue. I had messed with the /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/Install.framework and it needed to be chown -R root:wheel
