Hey Guys,
I heard from this cool Project and thought hey this is kinda cool I want to try this on my Laptop too...

So here are my Specs:
The Laptop is a XMG P303.
CPU: i7-4800MQ
Graphics: Intel HD 4600 + GTX 765M
Mainboard: W230ST
Chipset: Cpuz says Haswell
Southbridge: ID8C4B
Ram: Corsair Vengeance 1600MHz 1x8GB

The SSD I use is a Sandisk X110 256GB dont know if this is important.

So yeah it would be nice if someone could tell me if this setup im compatible...

It is probably compatible. You should read here first: http://www.tonymacx86.com/laptop-compatibility/106791-laptop-compatibility.html

Okay I run into a problem right now.
I boot from the Haswell iBoot.
Then I insert the retail Snow Leopard DVD.
When I try to boot from the DVD I always get "panic(cpu 0 caller 0x55f81d):" Unable to find driver for this platform: \"ACPI\". \n"@/usr/local/src/xnu-1504.15.3/iokit/Kernel/IOPlatformEpert.cpp:1385"

I'm getting this with every flag.
I already tried stuff like - x - f - v PCIRootUID=1 GraphicsEnabler=No and also acpi=off

What the **** am I doing wrong?!

Why attempt to install Snow Leopard? I would install Mavericks to start off...

I'd like to install Snow Leopard because I have no Mac and cannot create a Bootable USBstick ...

But struggle is after all no problem for me I'm working as a software developer so I'm used to it but I don't get the error message...

The error means there is something that OS X doesn't like about the DSDT. Typical when you throw new ACPI content at an old OS.

Okay so it could be due to the SSD not being empty?

Edit: no changes after clearing the ssd

I would probably start by patching DSDT to see if you can solve it...

But really, it would be a lot easier to borrow a friend's Mac for an afternoon.
