XFX RX 570 HELP!!!!

hey folks,

Just installed OS X Catalina on my system and pretty much everything is working sept sidecar and a few other things, however I'm having issues with my graphics card reporting the right resolution.

in about this Mac it says :
Resolution 6016 x 3384
Looks like : 3008 x 1692 @ 30hz.

I was under the impression that this card was supported natively that's why I bought it.
the graphics seem to work fine but looks a little off and I'm sure 60hz would be a better experience.

any help would be appreciated

HDMI? In OSX it only supports 30Hz.
DisplayPort will go to 60Hz.

not sure why but launchpad still looks a bit washed out the icons are super clear but the background looks whack
