Looking to Hackintosh using: Gigabyte Vision D W480 and a Xeon W1250 6 Core.

I have heard that this board is very similar to the Z490 version, is this something that will be possible to work?

I want to go straight to the latest version of Big Sur if possible.

Here is all the specs I would use in this build:

GB Vision D W480
Intel Xeon W1250
3x M2 SSD's, 1 HDD, 1 2.5 SSD for additional storage.
Dual Boot OS with Windows 10
AMD RX560
32GB DDR4 ECC

Very possible! In fact, I already did so with that very same board, which is almost identical to the Z490 Vision D. Therefore, if you follow CaseySJ's Z490 Golden Build formula you should be good to go.

I'm running Catalina, though CaseySJ provides instructions for upgrading to Big Sur in that thread as well. There's no reason the W480 should have any trouble with it.

There were only a tiny few minor adjustments I needed to do for the W480. Specifically, don't enable XMP if you're using ECC memory (and I'd even recommend avoiding XMP even without non-ECC as it can cause sleep mode issues). Secondly, I needed to make a simple WhateverGreen tweak in order to enable QuickSync.

Search for a few of my posts on the topic, starting with the one linked below:

And as for ECC memory, let me save you some trouble of hunting for decent ones at a decent price. Buy a pack of these and you should be all set:
