Xeon 6 core processor is showing although I have i7 4930k

Hi,

I am trying to get iMessage to work, and in the process I have tried different system types.
What I see is that no matter what system type I use it always



Why isn't it seeing my i7?

For Socket 2011, the i7 CPUs are basically Xeons with some features disabled.
Since Apple only uses Socket 2011 Xeons and not i7s, that's what OS X is displaying.
It's nothing to worry about.
