Try to boot with -v and show us a picture of the Messages you got.
X99 platform is not completely supported in MacOS so it might be difficult to setup.

i mount 4 hackintosh yet z87 HD3 z87XUD5 TH x87X UD7 TH z87X UD3H with clover and never never problems

but the last one its an nightmare X99P SLI
