X99 Build - 3D Animation / Game Production - 2600$ Budget

Hey Guys,

I'm considering building an x99 build with these parts (unsure about mobo):

Mobo- ?
i7 5820k
Crucial Ballistix 32GB DDR4 2400
GTX 980ti
PSU- ?
Define R4 Case

I'm going to be doing 3D animation work and game engine work in Unity and Unreal Engine, so I need something quite powerful.
I'm aware of the risks of attempting an X99 build, but feel confident I can get it to work due to a few successful builds I've checked out on here.

Can anyone recommend a decent Mobo and PSU?
I'd like to be able to use Thunderbolt if possible.

If I were doing another X99 build in ATX I would go with the http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/X99DELUXEU31/specifications/ , the 5930K CPU for 6 cores and 40 PCIe lanes and the Samsung SM951 SSD with at least 32GB of RAM.

You should be able to use one of the Asus EX II Thunderbolt cards with the Asus X99 mobo.
If you can get a 750W Seasonic Gold rated PSU that would be perfect. I've got the 650w version

It's very well built, quiet mostly modular and not super expensive for the quality
and 5 year warranty that you get.

If not Seasonic then go with something like a Corsair RM750 for one that's a little less expensive.

Thanks for the mobo recommendation.
The reviews on that board seem to be quite poor so I'm still hesitant.

It's hard to say without using it myself, but it seems a lot of people on Newegg have said that it has died on them.
