Had the plan all summer to build a new computer, even bought a 3930k through work and got a good deal on it. Was talking with coworkers and thought about building a hackintosh. Been searching around the forums and I am just complete lost on which hardware to choose.

The list so far is:

Case: Silverstone Fortress FT02B

Motherboard: Don't know which to go with

CPU: Intel Core i7 3930k

Power Supply: Silverstone Strider Gold ST85F-G 850w

Memory: 2x Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2x4gb) DDR3 1600
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233199

Graphics card: Don't know what to go with need help with this also

CPU heat sink: Noctua NH-D14 SE2011
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835608024

DVD/CD Burner: ASUS 24X Bulk Newegg
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16827135204

HDD: 2x 1tb Seagate Barracuda ST31000524AS Sata 6.0 GB/s
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822148697

SSD: 1x OCZ Agility 3 240gb for windows, 1x OCZ Agility 3 120GB or 180GB

I really just need help choosing the right motherboard and right graphics card for this build. Any help would be appreciated.

Okay dokey, and what about dual booting. Is it easier to just have both OS's on one SSD or separate the OS's on two two different SSD's?

Each OS on separate HDDs/SSDs. It is recommended.

Will chimera show the different OS to boot to? Or would choosing which SSD/HDD to boot in the bios be better option?

Chimera will allow to you choose which OS to boot into. Just make sure that your SSD/HDD for OSX is set to first and Chimera should handle the rest

Want to use for NLE and Rendering/compressing dual boot supercomp

You can choose this Asus Sabertooth board below or the Extreme IV:

OR

What are you looking to do with this setup? Editing? Music? Rendering?

Most likely if your are using Adobe apps a 5xx card or 6xx if you are game.

which build do you think would do best for my purposes? I am tempted to wait out the thunderbolt compatible builds...
