Hello,

Back on Mac Os, this time on a x270 lenovo.
What is working:
- Bluetooth (dw1830)
- Wifi (dw1830)
- Battery status available.
- Integrated webcam.
- Fn Keys
- Led Blink fixed

But it is time for optimisation, especially for the following points:
- Sleep with automatic wake sometime.
- When in sleep mode, LED blink but fans remaining spinning a little bit most of the time.
- Restart instead of shutdown sometime.
- SSDT-USB.aml no sure of the content, especially for USB-C port.
- Battery status remaining to 100% charge for a while in battery mode and just to 85% later.

Patches applied:
"Fix _WAK Arg0 v2"
"HPET Fix"
"SMBUS Fix"
"IRQ Fix"
"RTC Fix"
"OS Check Fix"
"Fix Mutex with non-zero SyncLevel"
Battery for Lenovo x230i (do not forget to uncomment dedicated to two batteries before appyling the patch)
Manual edit for led blink
FN_keys patch (same as the one used previously for x250)
USB3_PRW
instant wake for Skylake

Many thanks for your support

2019-12-19: Edit
Working:
- Sleep/wake
- Battery status
- power Management,
- SideCar, AirDrop
- Brightness, Fn Keys
- HDMI output including digital audio
- Shutdown (no more restart instead of shutdown)
- Webcam
- Facetime, messages
- Led blink fixed.

Not working (with no interest for me):
- Slot for SD card

A guide will follow later

Adding patch "instant wake for Skylake" fixed automatic wake and sleep issue (fan keep spinning).

@fraisdos125 Did you upgrade from Mojave?

I have a working x270 on Mojave 10.14.6 (18G103).

What is not working for you on Catalina?

At the moment this two points:
- Restart instead of shutdown something.
- Accuracy of battery level.

The rest all good

I will look at this next week. I keep you in touch.

Apparently fixed with the patch "Shutdown restart (XHC.PMEE) Fix.
Last point: accuracy of the battery level.

@ii.nferno , which patch do you use for the battery status ?
Battery status is displayed but remains for a while to 100% and start going down last 1.5 hours only. When charging, go up to 83% and after a while switch to 100%.

Is this the Rehabman patch? -> https://github.com/RehabMan/Laptop-DSDT-Patch/blob/master/system/system_Shutdown_restart.txt

I used https://github.com/RehabMan/Laptop-DSDT-Patch/blob/master/battery/battery_Lenovo-X230i.txt

No accuracy issues for me.

Perhaps your internal battery is set to primary whilst your machine is running off your external battery. This may be why you see 100% for 1.5hrs before it goes down.

I am guessing you are using the '68' flush battery?

I just received x2 68+ batteries this week. My x270 is now 20hrs on a single charge

It is.
Have you applied the USB3 Skylake patches as well ?

Where is this setting ? BIOS ? MacOS ?

Will buy the same :)

I didn't apply Skylake patches. My X270 is the newer Kaby Lake, i5 7300u.

See comment in Rehabman's patch:

# Note: disable secondary battery
# *** remove this line if you have a second battery installed)
into method label _STA parent_label BAT1 replace_content begin Return(0) end;

Removing this line of code supposedly merges the two batteries together as a single % battery reading.

I bought Kingsener third-party brand. The 68+ is approx 45 euros new from AliExpress.
