X220 AzureWave AW-CE123H Installation questions

I did follow the installation guide here http://x220.mcdonnelltech.com/ to install Mac OS Sierra and did update to 10.12.1 afterwards which all went fine.

But now Im a bit lost what exactly I have to do to get the AW-CE123H working. I found this guide here but its a bit overwhelming for me.

Is the card still compatible if 10.12.1 is in usage? Could somebody explain each step and what to do?
Would be eternally grateful.

Broadcom WiFi BCM94352 requires an additional patch

The patch was created by the-darkvoid.

eg. in KextsToPatch:

Thanks so far. But the problem for me is how do I get there.
The guide says at at Step 1 /Enable Wifi that kext enabler is not working on 10.12.1.
So im trying to do the kext edit/info.plist instead. But I have not clue where to start. Where is that file and how do I open it?

which guide are you following?
I'm going to assume you're following the guide at https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-airport-pcie-half-mini-v2.104850/

You're going to want to go to toleda's repo linked in the guide, which should be https://github.com/toleda/wireless_half-mini.

To open the .plist file, you're going to need something like PlistEditor Pro, TextWrangler, or XCode...
