Would this build work? (i think so)

Mother board: Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD5 rev 2.0
Processor: intel core i7 960 3.2 GHz
Graphics: nVidia Gigabyte Geforce 460GTX

I already have the motherboard DSDT.
Would this work? I'm a little scared about buying it for nothing...

MoBo and CPU are ok but the GFX isn't because the Fermi Freeze Issue. I suggest to buy one from ATI

But i've seen some builds working with it, such as:

Is it that some particular versions of the OS X have problems?

I'm a noob in this matter. I'm about to build my computer and i already have 2 GTX460 to use them with SLI technology in Windows7.
I don't even know what fermi freeze is, and why does it happen.
