you're welcome :)

Basically I am trying to build the cheapest possible build that would run Mountain Lion. Would the following work?

Motherboard: http://bit.ly/NGJFuV
CPU: http://bit.ly/Qlhjs0
Graphics Card: http://bit.ly/QlhELh
DVD drive: http://bit.ly/NGJU9g
RAM: 8GB (4GB x2) DDR3 1333MHz
Fan/Heatsink: http://bit.ly/MfY7qU
Case: bit.ly/NEovMC
Wi-Fi card: Not too sure yet, any suggestions?

If any of the parts won't work, could you suggest a budget-minded alternative? Thanks!

my 2 cents worth ga-h61m-ds2 rev2.1 45.00 micro center/celeron g530 34.00 skip dvd drive and get 8gb usb 3.0 flash drive for install vid cards works and 1 8gb ram stick to keep heat down drops 5 degrees off and wnb 48oo tplink airport oob 45.00 .running ml gm with parts i have suggested now and stable

Just found this on TD: http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/ ... CatId=7344

would it work? $11 savings is worth .1GHz less imo, I'll have it OCed to nearly 3 anyway

EDIT: Ninja'd.

I couldn't find the motherboard. The CPU I posted is cheaper in Canada than the celeron g530. Aside from OSx86 I'm a Linux geek and tend to dual boot loads of random OSes with OS X, so DVD drive is kind of a must. I already have 4GB of ram (only that cos they only had one left) and 4gb x2 is cheaper than 8GB x1. Wi-Fi card sounds good though. Thanks :D

G 540 : entry level performance

G 620 : moderate performance

There is a high probability that, if your system works with Lion, it will work with Mountain Lion.

I can't understand a thing.
My system was running 64bit when there was Snow Leopard installed.
Now with Lion in the System info it does not indicate that 64 bit core and extensions are running (x86_64 flag is set in com.apple.boot.plist)

However when Lightroom or Photoshop started they say x64 on their popup start windows.

How can I check for sure whether my system is ready for ML or not?

UPD Looks like it's fine now. I changed Kernel architecture from i_386 to x86_64 in org.chameleon.Boot.plist and now System info indicates I'm running 64 bit core and extensions.
