Works perfect!! Install 10.9.1 on ProBook 6460b
Update 8.feb. 2014 Installed HP branded Broadcom 943224HMS (see below)
FRESH INSTALL 10.9.1:
Just installed 10.9.1, as a fresh install, on my wife`s Probook 6460b, using Unibeast and Probook installer 6.1.11.
Bought Atheros 9280 mini pcie card for Wifi, and it works great!
Do this:
1. Install 10.9.1 as usual with Unibeast, restart. Boot from Unibeast, and choose 10.9.1 partition, not the installer.
2. Use Probook Installer 6.1.11 and install according to Rehabmans guide (remember to check Fanreset.dylib for the Atheros 9280 wifi). Shut down.
3. Put the actual 9280 wifi card in the machine. Boot. The bios will tell you the card is not recognized (whitelisted) and won't work, ignore that and continue.
5. And wow! Working hackintosh!
Everything works!!
Update 8.feb. 2014: Replaced the wifi-card with a HP branded Broadcom 943224HMS. Just swapped it with the Atheros 9280, no drivers, no nothing. It just works! No whitelist-message anymore!!
Thanks for tips nguyenmac and Rehabman!
