The reason I use the title [Works] is some of this board’s issue is not solve yet.
Also, I don’t know if there are any problems I didn’t find.
Hope this could help people who want build their own hackintosh.

6. The ALC 1150 problem

Download the AppleHDA-1150-9-series.zip from this thread
Quick Fix for Onboard Audio on 9 Series Motherboards
(many thanks to tony and toledo and those I missed )
You can check my post(#29) in this thread to see which port works.

7. Sorry for my bad English, you can reply if you have any question, I will try to answer if I can understand what you mention.

Thanks so much for this!
I'm getting this board on Thursday and what kinda stressing a little about all the options in Multibeast!

Worked first try!

Specs:
GA-Z97X-UD3H
MSI GTX 460
Running Mountain Lion 10.8.5

I booted with the following flag into the installer:
GraphicsEnabler=Yes PCIRootUID=0

Once the installation completed I booted from the HDD with the same flags as well as "-x"

Installed your options in Multibeast Mountain Lion edition.
Then ran the Mavericks edition and updated FakeSMC, Chimera 3.0.1, Nvidia patch and installed the MacPro6,1 definition.

Rebooted and done!

Installed a couple of programs from an external drive and when I rebooted I got an error
"Memory Allocation Error 0xdeadbeef"
Facepalmed so hard but it turned out that disconnecting the external USB drive fixed it.

Does you boot also take EXTREMELY long on this step in verbose boot?
"AppleIntelE1000e(Info): e1000e NIC Link is Up 100Mvps Full Duplex"

It seems to just stand still there?

EDIT:
Nevermind Fixed it.
Turned out when I used the Mavericks Multibeast and change some of the boot flags stuff I didn't choose all the necessary options.
Reinstalled Multibeast with your option and BOOM!

Thanks!

hey there.
I have same motherboard(rev 1.0, F7) with
2GBx2 ram
MSI R9-270

I can boot into the installer without any bootflag.
but after installation, I need -x -v maxmem=2048 so that I could get into the OS.

And the worst thing comes,
after I install multibeast with dsdt-free option, I cant boot up my mavericks anymore.

It just stucks at "AppleKeyStore starting..."

Any idea or any new boot flag for try?

Thanks in advance!

hmm i have the audio issue i will try it now and see

and also i cant boot without -x =(

I have the same board. But after OSX installs and reboot. I just get the white background and apple logo and it just stops progressing forward. Anyone know how to fix this?

What does it say when you use -v? Your AppleHDA.kext may need to be deleted out of /S/L/E.

I suggest you both install with 9.0.0 initially. I have found success by installing first with 9.0.0 -> booting with -x -> deleting AppleHDA -> multi beast for only the basic stuff -> combo update to 9.0.3 -> multi beast for the remaining kexts (usb 3.0 audio etc.)

Is VT-d disabled in your bios?
Is the bios setting set to Advanced Memory Management-> X.M.P -> profile1? I was getting the spinning wheel of doom with this not set.

How to get audio working:

Multibeast Settings:

Then use KextBeast to install this kext.

Hi, just found this thread. I've got the same problem as you, was wondering if you managed to solve this issue and how?

Hey i'm trying to install Yosemite on the same motherboard, it's working for the most part except the LAN. The LAN works after installing OSX but then stops working after installing the FakeSMC from multibeast. Has anyone had a similar problem and now how to fix it? If I don't install the FakeSMC then I cant boot to OSX without using safe mode.
