Here's as far as I can get, thoughts?

EDIT: I can boot with -x flag, but still not normally.

well, i tried running multibeast and selected the 889a audio driver, and the ethernet driver for real tek, and now i can't even boot into safe mode. i'm currently booted into my nightly clone (so still 10.7.5 from last night). here's the org.chameleon.Boot.plist form my now upgraded drive:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<!DOCTYPE plist PUBLIC "-//Apple//DTD PLIST 1.0//EN" "http://www.apple.com/DTDs/PropertyList-1.0.dtd">
<plist version="1.0">
<dict>
<key>EthernetBuiltIn</key>
<string>Yes</string>
<key>GenerateCStates</key>
<string>Yes</string>
<key>GeneratePStates</key>
<string>Yes</string>
<key>GraphicsEnabler</key>
<string>Yes</string>
<key>Kernel</key>
<string>mach_kernel</string>
<key>Kernel Flags</key>
<string>darkwake=0</string>
<key>Legacy Logo</key>
<string>Yes</string>
<key>Timeout</key>
<string>2</string>
<key>UseKernelCache</key>
<string>Yes</string>
</dict>
</plist>

well, that didn't work. but i booted back into my nightly clone and ran Mountain Lion Multibeast form there, and it seems i'm up and going (though, i still have to have GraphicsEnabler=Yes). That's a little disconcerting, since after switching to a GTX570, that was a driving force for the upgrade to ML.

EDIT: well, nothing will launch, all the Stock Apple programs crash right away at luanhc, except Safari (like mail for example)

added the npci, and left graphics at yes, still crashing when launching mail, notes, etc, but booting into osx fine still.

yes, i used the dsdt form the downloads here. the essentials is about done, so i'll be rebooting shortly and seeing if it fixed anything.

just rebooted and mail, notifications, etc is all working fine.

have been for years, and will continue too. thanks again for all your help.
