With clover installed the OS doesn't boot

I'm stuck on Yosemite because the el capitan installer doesn't boot. But I've got latest version of Clover installed, and when I run it, the loader just gets stuck.

I have to use a really old boot loader to get things working. Ideas?

Not a lot of info to work with, start with ensuring USB is built (UEFI or Legacy) as your board is set to in Bios. UEFI,Legacy,UEFI and Legacy.

I'm sorry. I'm such a casual user I couldn't even think of what to include in my bug ticket.

I used legacy because the other one didn't work at all.

I don't recall seeing a UEFI setting at all btw. And I went looking for it a few weeks ago IIRC.

Legacy is most likely correct for that board, make sure USB 3.0 is disabled and look at:Bios settings step 3
in install guide.

Double checked all BIOS settings again, still seeing nothing wrong with it. USB 3 is disabled ..

You might redo the USB installer making sure to do it for legacy boot, do not select any graphics at that step unless you are using one of the ones listed. inject intel should be true.
