Wireless on my emachines E725 not working

Guys please help me out. I have a emachine E725, installation was successful. but m not able to connect to the internet. is there any solution for this

Have you tried the Atheros kextx on kexts.com? There are a few linked in the network section. Wireless cards are sometimes troublesome though.

I had downloaded that file, but how to use that, I mean making changes with the info.plist

Put the kext that you downloaded for kexts.com onto a usb stick and import it onto the desktop. Right click on the kext and click on "Show all package contents". Then there should be an info.plist. Open that up and scroll down until you see <string>pci168c,2a</string> . All you have to do is change that a to a b. So it should look like this. <string>pci168c,2b</string> . In theory, it should work. I have the same wireless card, so I'll find out soon hopefully.

Once you save that info.plist, you should be able to install the kext using kext helper.
