Hi,
was a while ago I wrote here.
I'm trying to get the Asus P8P67 Deluxe working.
This does run on modified bios as orginally mentioned here: Samisnake's P8P67 Deluxe
I got the folllowing working so far:
Intel Internet
Realtek Ethernet
CPU[\b]
Graphics: workingish (not fully tested)
Both my Asus GeForce GTX 780 Strix OC HDMI DP 2xDVI 6GB with Nvidia webdrivers)
Rotation works, Dual screens work
For some reason defined as PCIE:x8 <---not sure it this cosmetics or not most likley pci-e settings in bios
Audio is not working:
Audio Device: 0x80861C20,
Sub Device: 0x10438418,
Codec ID:0x10EC0889,
Revision: 0x0004
Codec name: Realtek ALC889
GTX 780x2 (HDMI)
0x10DE0E1A, 0x104384CD
---
Routine so far:
Installed Yosmite as usual

Drivers > Network > Realtek > RealtekRTL81xx v0.0.90
Bootloaders > Chimera v4.0.1
Customize > Boot Options > Basic Boot Options
Customize > Boot Options > Kext Dev Mode**
Customize > Boot Options > Use KernelCache
Customize > System Definitions > Mac Pro > Mac Pro 3,1 Customize > SSDT Options > Sandy Bridge Core i5 / i7 Overclocked**
Customize > Themes > tonymacx86 Black
** not sure if this helped with anything. I hoped to get the sound going but it did not.
Additional installation with Kext wizard:
AppleIntelE1000e.kext (10.6)
P8P67SATAControllers.kext
Additional modifications to plist:
Kernel Flags:
nvda_drv=1 ,for webdrivers
arch=PCIRootUID=0 , for booting up without getting Pstate error
Do you know what the next approach is to get the sound working? What have you tried?
Is there something else that I should do?
