The performance of Corsair liquid cooling systems is controlled by the Corsair Link software which unfortunately, at this stage at least according to my knowledge, does not work under macOS. The software is quite capable of keeping the temps down in Windows however it is a no brainer for macOS. Consequently if you overclocked excessively your temperatures in macOS will just skyrocket.

the problem is Corsair worked ok.
The new EVGA cant even stay 1 min after startup on stock clock
i've updated Fake SMC, but nothing changed

If i boot -x i dont have this overheat

I’ve noticed that my HDDs are getting hot and I think that they are simply not spinning down when not used. I changed the interval between temperature checks to a longer time and that seemed to help.

It seemed to me that checking the temps caused them to spin up and constantly checking their temps kept them spinning ...
