After a a long night I have successfully installed and using LION 10.7.1 . Everything is working fine as well as my Snow Leopard. I made a clean install for lion on the same HDD alongside with Snow Leopard. And now i am using both OS on 1 HDD (Multiboot).
Native Power Management - Working (DSDT + Latest Chameleon)
Sleep - Working (DSDT + Latest Chameleon)
Graphics (QE/CI) - Working (DSDT)
Sound - Working (AppleHDA.kext + DSDT)
Network - Working (Native in Snow, [Lnx2Mac]AppleRTL81xx.kext in Lion)
Note: Updated from 10.7.0 to 10.7.1 with Software Update.
Tools Used:
-Pre-installed Snow Leopard 10.6.8 (working fine forever)
-8gb usb flash drive (formatted as GUID)
-Mac OS X Lion Installer (from App Store)
-xMove to create installer for lion (on USB)
-Necessary Kexts for snow and lion (same kexts, dsdt and boot loader are working with BOTH installations)
Extensions for Lion:
S/L/E: AppleRTC.kext, AppleHDA.kext
E/E: FakeSMC.kext, RTL81xx.kext, IOAHCIBlockStorageInjector.kext, JMicronATA.kext
UPDATE ** Time machine is on my ATA HDD, working without problems.
UPDATE *** Tried the old NVIDIA 7600 GT 256MB on lion and it works. But only in 32 bit mode (arch=i386).
UPDATE **** Moved Snow Leopard to another HDD and Made a Clean install of Lion, Now Lion Rules on 500GB HDD
UPDATE ***** Updated to 10.7.2 via Combo Update. Had some graphic issues with EFI Strings fix. Solved by removing EFI Strings and adding NVEnabler.kext
UPDATE ****** NVEnabler.kext removed. Using DSDT. QE/CI Working fine.
UPDATE ******* Created Recovery HD with this method, Find My Mac works.
UPDATE ******** Wiped everything and installed cleanly. Fresh and Untouched. Yet . Mac OS X Lion 10.7.2. Everything is working again. One more thing; Autosleep works too.
UPDATE ********* Bought a Belkin F8T016 Mini Bluetooth Adapter. Workig OOB. Only need to Apply Not Shy's Guide - Potentially Fix Bluetooth Sleep/Wake
UPDATE **********Updated to 10.7.3 via Combo Update. Only Installled AppleHDA as usually. And system works fine.
