I Just bought a computer thinking of installing Windows 7 on it. But I think that the components I bought might work for a Hackintosh.

Will this work? Hope you guys can help.

Motherboard:
Gigabyte Intel Z77 CrossfireX ATX MB

Processor:
Intel Core i7 3770K

Ram: 4x8GB Corsair Vengance PC12800 DDR3 1600MHZ

SSD: Crucial 128GB m4 2.5 SATA6Gb/s

WD Caviar Black 1TB SATA HD 7200/64MB

Graphics Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 680 2GB

Power Supply: Corsair Enthusiast Series TX750 V2 750W 80+ Bronze

If the motherboard you are considering is actually the Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD5H (can't find a Gigabyte MB with the model name you listed, but when I googled Gigabyte and CrossfireX I got this one) then yes you should be good. The rear USB3.0 ports will work (as well as the USB2.0), the audio will work, however you may have some trouble if you try to run USB3.0 ports from the USB3.0 headers on the motherboard. Also, this MB has two ethernet ports - 1 Atheros chip based (LAN1) and 1 Intel chip based (LAN2). The Intel port should work fine, although, once again, you may have trouble with the Atheros based ethernet port.

I've got a Gigabyte Z77 based motherboard and i7-3770K CPU and it works great with OS 10.8.2

GA-Z77-DS3H motherboards have a similar issue with the ethernet port - rev1.0 of that board works fine, however rev1.1 has an unsupported ethernet chip (Atheros). Even if you plan to use wi-fi, if your on-board ethernet port is not working, you may have authentication issues with iCloud, iTunes, and the App store. Make sure you can get a rev1.0 of this board if you plan to order it. Look at the footnote(s) on the Customac 2012 guide regarding this board.
