I am trying to build a fairly cheap Hackintosh for my brother, and i've been reading up on few places for working hardware for an OSX Mountain Lion. Can you guys tell me if this build would work? thanks

What you have listed there will work just fine, except maybe the PCIe Firewire - not sure about that one.

so found out thru the link you sent that the Firewire used was StarTech.com 3 Port 2b 1a 1394 PCI Express FireWire Card Adapter PEX1394B3

i found something similar on newegg

it has the same model as the one with the 100% compatibility on the forum. Is there a chance that this one from newegg might not work?
i would like to think that the one found on newegg should work since it is the same model.. just a different look on the chip
im ordering all my hackintosh parts from newegg and i didnt want to have to order 1 part separately on amazon. thanks
