I have seen a few guides and they have really inspired me to build a Hackintosh in a G4 Cube. My question is will the gigabyte h77/z77 mini itx motherboard fit in it? I'm asking because this would be great as these mobos don't require a DSDT unless you use HDMI, which I may or may not on this cube. If this mobo is too big, it's fine, I'll just go with one of the motherboards from the guides that someone had success with.
Thanks!

You don't need a DSDT for HDMI either, only if you want HDMI Audio.

The Zotac is 170mm x 170mm
Gigabyte is 170mm x 170mm

I've never created a mod G4 Cube so I cant say it will fit but I can tell you they are the same size.

Look in mods section. There have been a number of G4 cubes done.
Also an Intel NUC would probably fit in there.
I do not remember how they did it.
Just search....
It is not an easy one to do.

Mini ITX is a standard, so doesn't matter whose mobo you use. All manufacturers who make mini ITX must make it 170x170mm.

and yes... Mini ITX fits in cube case mod (see my sig block for a link to my cube mod) :headbang:
