Will my GA UD5 X79 read a pci ssd?

Hey guys,

Happpy to report my hackintosh has been stable for almost 3 years now because of the help I got here. My osx can even update nicely.

Only thing I'm unsure of is my pci ports, there is nothing in there right now so I'm not even sure if it's reading it.

I want to purchase this to read from, not to install operating system:

Considering that OCZ says they have no plans for supporting Mac and a quick check for drivers on their site reveals there are none for Macs, I don't know if you will get it to work or not. If you just want to use it for storage it might work like a PCIe interface giant USB.

Have you tried the forum search? IIRC, there were several threads on the Revo drives last year.

No one knows there either, or on other htosh websites. Damn this is the other way I can upgrade to ssds, Im out of sata ports and Marvels bottleneck like crazy.

There must be a workaround for this
