Will Big Sur Run on a GA-Z170N-WIFI?

Thank you guys! In the meantime I have followed the dortania guide as closely as possible and had the feeling my usb stick was ok for a first go, ok so I gave it a try and there is something weird happening, the opencore picker does show the existing catalina partition I have on a ssd but not the installer present on the usb, even though the hfsplus.efi driver is present, so I don‘t really understand what’s going on. Some other people seem to have the same problem, and there is no clear fix. Will definitely check your links / files and will get back to you.

OK, after a few sanity checks, and corrections, my config.plsit is all green now, and I tried my first boot. As expected, it doesn't work yet, so I got interested in MSR 0xE2 write protection, and I have a weird result coming from VerifyMSRE2. It says that my config is BORKED as only one core seems to be unlocked, and the others are locked. Weird.. So I'm going to discover the joy of BIOS unlocking... Will keep you posted
