Will any power supply unit work?

Do all power supply units work with hackintoshes? Specifically this one? https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00SN7CGAO/?tag=tonymacx86com-20

As was already correctly pointed out, the software is not relevant. What matters is if the PSU works with your motherboard and will fit into the case you want to install that motherboard in.

What hardware do you want to find a PSU for?

I am not familiar with the "Sentey" brand. You might consider Googling around for PSU reviews to see what brands are considered to be reliable these days.

For what it's worth, the biggest "mistake" people seem to make is thinking bigger is always definitely better where a PSU is concerned. There is some truth there to the extent that your PSU definitely needs to be adequate for whatever graphics card(s) you use.

In my case I am using the Skylake internal graphics and I do not overclock. My entire system usually pulls 60 watts. I'm not sure how much it might pull with a heavy load, but I expect it would still be well under the 430 watt PSU I use.

My suggestion is that if you aren't locked into a PSU yet, think and read a bit before deciding what to get.

The Bronze rated PSUs typically are older PSU designs that do not work with Haswell and newer processors. See the tonymacx86 Buyer's Guide for examples of what your need in a modern PSU.

As previous responders to your question asked, what is your motherboard and processor for this build?

Here's a list of most of the Haswell ready PSUs. http://techreport.com/review/24897/the-big-haswell-psu-compatibility-list
In my experience you can't go wrong with Seasonic brand (G or M12 II series) if you are on a restricted budget. They also make power supplies for Antec and others so you can even find those at better prices. Do some googling to find which ones they make for other companies. A friend of mine who builds hundreds of PCs a year to resell, for the past ten years now, has put the Antec Earthwatts EA380 models in business PCs for his clients. Many are on 24-7. He provides longterm support for every one he sells.
He's told me that he can't remember a single one of these failing since he's been installing them. Seasonic makes these for Antec.

It's fairly rare that you'll need a 750 W PSU for a Z170 build with a mid-range graphics card. So please let us know what your primary hardware components will be.

An example of a Gold rated Seasonic that will work in the majority of new builds with a single graphics card.

I don't know about Haswell, but the Bronze Corsair CX430 I got back in 2011 works fine with my Skylake board.

I once thought my Corsair PSU had failed, but I was wrong. No, literally. The system refused to power up.

The problem was that I was trying to bring up a motherboard with CPU and memory but nothing else connected as a test. As a result here wasn't a big enough load on the PSU for it to switch on. The fix was to connect a fan to the motherboard to add more of a load. Then it worked fine.
