Wifi: Ngff to mini PCI-E to USB for Broadcom cards?

If I connect a supported ngff Broadcom wifi/bt card to this ngff/pcie adapter:

And then put into a mini pci-e to usb like this?

I am wondering if this Setup could work and enable native airdrop support for the hackintosh?

Only way to find out is to test. It won't work in Sonoma as BCM Wifi support is dropped. It would require the current OCLP root patching method along with specific added kexts and boot-args.

I don’t have a plan to use Sonoma. Ventura with continuity camera and airdrop is good enough.

unfortunately only BT can be passed through usb, the wifi pcie device cannot. Such a pity…

no wifi passthrough means no airdrop I guess...I don't think BRCM BT plus Intel wifi will enable airdrop
