I have had my Atheros card working, but I'm now getting the "No Hardware Installed" message. I'm not sure whether Parallels Desktop has messed it up or not though.

It's not the the wifi button or Fn-F3. Can anyone help?

Just to add: When I go to Preferences - Network, it says 'Loading Networks...' and then I need to force quit to get out of it.

Open terminal and run bdmesg. Post results here.

Also, did you run the ethernet installer?

i have had the same error. here are my bdmesg results attached to this post.

no. i am booting without any flags.

i tried using sudo kextcache -system-caches in terminal to rebuild kernel cache but unfortunately that hasn't fixed the broken trackpad or wifi.

Is there a way to force to boot from the kext cache after rebuilding it. P.s. Sometimes when I force shut down and restart everything works perfectly :-S

Can you rerun bdmesg again and copy and paste the contents into a file slightly easier to read?

here you go. i hope this is easier than the last file.
