Hi there, I'm building a Hackintosh for a friend of mine, and everything went fine except that I can't connect to internet.

His board is a Z77-DS3H so I installed the Atheros fix at MultiBeast. The strange thing is that all seems right, I even have a green light saying "Connected" in the network settings, but still can't navigate with Safari. I have a WiFi USB dongle, the TL-WN725N, and downloaded the right drivers from Realtek webpage.

Here are some images; in one of them the WiFi option in is clearly blocked, I believe it's because when I installed the OS I selected the option "This computer connects to internet with an internal Ethernet card" (the WiFi option was also blocked back then)

I hope you can help me with this, thanks!

The Atheros refers to the NIC on the GA77 motherboard, not the wifi from the usb port. You shouldn't need to do anything if the usb wifi is recognized by the OS. Look at http://www.osx86.net/files/file/3539...n-v2-usb-wifi/ for the correct drivers for the TL-WN725N.

Thanks for answering, and yes, those are the exact same drivers I installed, downloaded from that page. Still, my browser doesn't allow me to use internet, saying "you're not connected" and giving me a link to network settings
