Why no logs for Kernel Panic?

I am getting random kernel panics when the machine is idle. I think it's my video card, but not sure.

For some reason, I don't get any logs to /Library/Logs/Diagnostic Reports. I thought this is where Lion would log a Kernel Panic. I am using Console app and don't see anything.

Any idea why it's not logging? It's hard to troubleshoot with no idea the cause.
 
Hackintoshes aren't able to save the kernel panic log to disk. if you want to see the actual panic, boot with debug=0x144 argument or add it to your boot.plist in /Extra like this:
