Hi,
my CustoMac is running great but I can't seem to get rid of one annoyance.

On an irregular basis a white stripe (about 1 pixel high) appears on the right side of my screen for a split second. It is more like a short flicker. I have yet to find a way to reproduce it on purpose. It seems totally random and only occurs from time to time.
In order to show you, I tried recording it with screen recording but it does not show on the recording.

I had to recreate the white stripe using pixelmator to give you an idea how the stripe looks like.
When booting with windows this does not happen at all.

Using: macOS 10.12.2

Any ideas?

Greetings,
Mr. Litchy

Does nobody else have or had this problem?

It really is quite annoying. 2 or 3 times a minute I get these flickers...

Did you already try to disable your iGPU?
  • Disable the iGPU in the BIOS
  • Disable Inject Intel in your config.plist

Dude uncheck intel inject in graphics.

I still had "inject Intel" turned on from fooling around with Airplay Mirroring. Turned it off and disabled iGPU in BIOS but the stripes still appear...

Other ideas?

I just updated to macOS 10.12.3 and installed the newest WebDrivers. Still the same Problem...

Have you tried a different monitor?

I do not really have another monitor but I can try my TV. The reason I haven't tried is that the problem is gone as soon as I boot windows.

I'll also try a different cable.

Thanks for the ideas!
