Good morning all,
I'm building a first Hackintosh builder after research and read about hardware and I finall set for GA-Z77-DS3H, i3-2105, EVGA GeForce 9800 GT, Corsair 1X4GB DDR3 , OCZ Vertex 3 SSD 240GB, SONY DVD AD-7280S-0B, TP-LINK Wireless N Dual Band TL-WDN4800, MAC OS X 10.6.3 Retail DVD, iBoot Legacy 2.7.2 (iBoot 3.3 unable to boot SL)
1) via 3d BIOS i set SATA to AHCI but i see NO option to set HPET to 64-bit
2) I was able install mac OS X without the Wireless Networking card, but LAN, SOUND no working but every time I turn on I need the iboot to boot via hard disk. I tried to put wireless card plug in but seem no detect via mac os x SL 10.6.3, so i unplug it and iboot again and i run into "WHITE APPLE SCREEN"

Should I format HD and install over again, or easy way to fix a White Apple Screen, How can i make a LAN, and Wireless working PLEASE HELP!!! THANKS

You should use some command line switchs - for the inital install - start with these
-s -v -f acpi=off PCIRootUID=1 GraphicsEnabler=No

Once you get to the inital load and then reboot use the only -v -f

Then after you complete the install you dont use any unless you have to use the -v -f.

As your CPu is a Sandy Bridge you will need to use a modified install procedure - do read the Tonymacx86 install webpage for iBoot and Multibeast
set bios options and them follow these steps posted by jester969

-------------------------------------------------------------------
How to due a sandybridge cpu w compatable hardware OSX hack 10.6.8 build. jester969

Typical installation steps are:
1) iBoot + Disk Utility + install Snow Leopard DVD (perform install via DVD) reboot
2) iBoot + Installed OSX HDD (boot with iBoot and loading OS via newly installed HDD) - get welcome screen
3) Run Update Helper and Reboot?
4) iBoot + Installed OSX HDD, run combo update 10.6.8 , DO NOT reboot
5) Run Multibeast and select option which are required to your board.
6) Reboot w/out iBoot

Audio/Ethernet/DSDT

DSDT and BIOS firmware must match to the corresponding number.

Some users have issues with the update helper - Apple has at least three versions - I think Tony wants us to use the Apple update 10.6.8 v 1.1 for SandyBridge
which is the last that Apple made for OSX10.6:

You state that you are not able to boot from iBoot 3.10.1 - so you don't get the Tonymacx86 red icon on screen.
Yet you do w Legacy. Thats strange - have you downloaded it again an tried to burn it again to a cd and reboot w #2.
Also I think I made an error in the command switch I posted - Try this - Best Startup Switch for inital install from iBoot w Apple DVD
-x -v -f acpi=off PCIRootUID=1 GraphicsEnabler=No
or
-x -v -f apci=off cpus=1 PCIRootUID=1 busratio=20 GraphicsEnabler=No
At next reboot you should use -v -f ( with PCIRootUID=1 GraphicsEnabler=No ) maybe!

The TP Link card - remove this for OSX10.6 install for now! If you get to 10.6.8 install it to see if it is recognized
this card is mentioned on TonyMacx86 - http://legacy.tonymacx86.com/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=67093&start=0

The onboard Network card - need to know which chipset it is - I dont think its a RealTec but
Vendor: Attansic Corporation
Device: Atheros L1E - ATL1E
Also known on windows as: AR8121 AR8113 PCI-E Ethernet controller
Device ID: 1969:1026
Check to confirm in windows.
Support for this is rather unknow in OSX10.6 but confirmed in osx 10.7

jester969 has listed a modified install process see below - also Apple has several 10.6.8 updates - see this link -try it with the 10.6.8 combo update version 1.1:
