Hello, it has been a few years since I built a hackintosh.

Which SATA ports do I use on a GIGABYTE GA-B85M-D3H ?

Would it be ports 0/1 on SATA3, or do I use SATA2 ports for the DVD Drive ?

Are there any specific ports that have to be used?

I will be connecting a Hard Drive and a DVD Drive to the SATA ports.

Thank you in Advance!

Best practices dictate that for any OS (not just OSX), you want to put your boot drive (whether it's an SSD or HDD) on port SATA3 0. In general, it should be obvious that you want to put any drives capable of SATA3 on SATA3 ports (for this motherboard, that would be ports 0-3). The DVD drive can go anywhere you want it; I would probably put it on the first SATA2 port (SATA2 0).
