Hi All :)

Im currently using an msi gtx 460 768mb but it doesn't work when using this guide -
http://legacy.tonymacx86.com/viewtopic.php?t=4802

Everything works but my gfx, its just stuck in low res at 1024x768.
I've tried booting with PCIRootUID=1 GraphcisEnabler=No, but no luck.
I installed nvidia 256 drivers, which enabled my gpu fully, but now its crashing every 30 mins or so.

So im going to replace my GPU to a supported one! :D
I will sell my current msi gtx 460 768mb.
The guide suggests I get a zotac gt 240, but i would like something with a little more power.

Would a Gainward gtx 460 be ok?
What would you recommend?

I just want to check as its now clear not all nvidia gtx 460's are supported!

Hope you can help!

What OS are you running? Are you really stuck to nVidia or are you willing to consider AMD?

Hi mate,
Thanks for replying!

I'll run whichever os is most stable, and easiest to get running.
I don't have a preference.

I was sticking with nvidia as I'd like the facility to use cuda gpu rendering for video and 3d work.

Are ati cards more supported or something?
If so which would you recommend?

Thanks a lot mate! Really appreciate your help.
