which kexts do I have to install in generell?

I am a noob and want to learn something about which kexts I have to install in generell.

I followed this guide to make my mackintosh working - and it is great!

But still I am not sure which kexts I have to take in generell - When do I need FakeSMC for instance? It says in multi beast description that fakeSMC is "the only absolutely mandatory kext" and why didn´t the thread autor install it? How do you find out what kexts you have to use??

I know we all have to start somewhere, but maybe do your research before asking questions like these. You should do research before installing lion, to be asking all of those questions you couldn't have done any prior to opening the installation.

If you look about and search, there are answers to these.
