Which bootloader for Core 2 Quad on Mavericks?

I'm about to update my Core 2 Quad Hack Pro to Mavericks. I currently have an older version of Chimera (I think, might be Chameleon) installed as the bootloader. The motherboard predates the UEFI era, of course. Is it wisest to stay the course with a Chameleon/Chimera family bootloader, or try one of the newer alternatives? Thanks.

Use the one in MultiBeast Mavericks
